The 12th Man
This year’s super bowl didn’t disappoint. The Seattle Seahawks broke three different records in the Super Bowl blow out of 43 to 8. It was the number one defense versus the number one offence. The three records broken were the youngest super bowl winning team, Malcolm Smith was only the third ever linebacker to win the MVP award, and the fastest points scored in a Super Bowl game.
Percy Harvin only played 33 snaps last season. On his Seattle & Super Bowl debut, he scores the 2nd kickoff TD in a row.
Denver offence was one of the best, unstoppable teams in the playoffs… until they met The Legion of Boom. They were held to just 8 points. Worst ever in a Super Bowl.

COOPER’S MEDIA PICKS
Here we go again, The Super Bowl. This year’s Super Bowl will be held on February 2nd in the MetLife Dome in New Jersey. On Saturday, January 18th the Denver Broncos will host the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks will host the San Francisco 49ers. When I interviewed my class I knew Seattle would win the vote big. And I was right. 18 kids chose Seattle. Now this is what I think is going to happen.
49ers v Seahawks: Seattle by 3
Patriots v Broncos: Denver by 7
Super Bowl 48

The Actual Meaning of S.O.S
Many people think S.O.S stands for ‘Save Our Souls’ or ‘Save Our Ship’, but here’s the truth: it doesn’t stand for anything. It is actually created because of Morse code. Long time ago, sailors used Morse code to communicate with other ships. Then the sailors decided they needed a way to alert the other ship when they were in danger. Because shouting wasn’t too efficient, they decided to use Morse code. The two most simple letters were S, which was three dots and O, which was three lines. And so S.O.S was born.
What is Morse code?
Morse code is a combination of dots and lines that create the meaning of a letter. Morse code can be done with light or sound.
Here is a list of the Morse code:

Remembrance Day-What's It About?
Everyone knows what Remembrance day is, but do you know why?
The part that everyone knows is that it is to honour some soldiers who died. But what else do you know? My guess is not much.
You attend a ceremony, place some poppies on a grave, and go home. But Remembrance day is more than that. Remembrance day is to honour soldiers who died in wars overseas. That grave you put the flowers on? Probably a soldier, maybe family, maybe not, who didn't survive. Remembrance day isn't just some ceremony you have to go to, it's a way to show you care about those who died so that our country could be what it is now.
So next time you go to a Remembrance Day ceremony, don't just wish you were home already, remember that that grave is the final resting place of a hero.

Apollo 11 - True or False?
Everyone knows the Apollo 11 landed on the moon, and Neil Armstrong was the first man to take a step on the moon. But what if this wasn’t true? What if humanity never landed on the moon?
Apollo – The Great Plan
In 1961, John F. Kennedy, the current president of the United States, announced that he would achieve his goal of sending a man to the moon and back by the time the 60s end. So he came up with project Apollo. But during those times the States and Russia was competing with almost everything, and space was one of them.
At that time, Russia was first to send the first satellite, a living dog (living creature), and the first to send a man out to space. All of these achievements weren’t good news to America. So they decided to catch up to Russia as soon as possible.
America & Space
The first satellite sent by America was The Voyager. Weighing 14.2kg. This satellite was sent to space in 1958, January 1st. 10 years after that, the Apollo 7 circled the earth 163 times for 260 hours. In the same year, the Apollo 8 circled the moon and came back to earth. Soon in 1969, May 18th-26th, the Apollo 10 circled the moon 31 times and successfully came back. But after a month since the Apollo 10 came back, mankind finally landed on the moon. This was the Apollo 11.
Happily Ever After?
About 30 years after Apollo 11 had landed, people started finding things, photos and videos that weren’t possible if they were actually taken in space. For example, the American flag on the moon. On the pictures/videos the American flag was flapping. In space, there was no air, which meant that this wasn’t possible. Another example is that in all of the pictures there weren’t any stars showing, and that is obviously impossible. These clues started to make people wonder about why Area 51 was restricted. Some people said that the Area 51 is the place where the American government took the “fake” photos of space, and the reason they can’t move the supplies out of the area is because it is just simply too noticeable.
Conclusion
Some people still believe that the Apollo 11 landing on the moon is a hoax, and it may be true. Humanity might have not actually landed on the moon.
But it is up to you to think whether or not Apollo 11 landed on the moon. Although, personally, I think there is a good chance of it being a hoax.
